  • Our two technologies

    Our breeding consists of two technologies. One is the disparity mutagenesis technology that efficiently induces mutations occurring in nature. The other is the screening technology which chooses organisms having acquired functional phenotypes among a population with mixed hereditary characters.

  • Disparity mutagenesis technology

    Before disparity mutagenesis technology, methods such as chemical mutagens and radiations that are harmful for organisms have been conventionally used. At Neo-Morgan Laboratory, we have developed a technology that can efficiently induce mutations occurring in nature within a short period of time. Our mutagenesis technology is based upon the Disparity Theory ofEvolution which was proposed by our founder Dr. Mitsuru Furusawa(evolutionist).. We continue to further improve this technology.

  • Screening technology

    The work of selecting organisms having the specific characteristics of interests is very difficult. We have been developing screening technology based upon the power of observation and insight, which Japanese has accumulated over the past hundreds of years. In this regard, our approach to screening organisms is uniquely different from Western approach, which mainly focuses on the quantity of the organisms to be screened.
